讲座人简介：

Dr Zhang has developed an internationally research profile for modelling of membrane distillation process, and has published 19 journal papers (11 are first author) of which 14 belong to SCImago Q1 journals since 2010. The total citations of all publications in 5 years are 517 and i10-index is 9 (data obtained from Google Scholar). Dr Zhang was a chief investigator in 3 successful projects with total funding of approximately $1.2 million. He was one of two inventors of the patented membrane distillation multilayer module that is currently finding commercial applications for, and one of the key process designers of the first direct potable reuse demonstration plant in Australia commissioned at Selfspoint Waste Water Treatment Plant, Hobart. He also achieves Vice Chancellor Peak Award for the Research Degree Graduate and Vice Chancellor Citation for Excellence in Research.
